Last minute OPAM

Okay - the picture is terrible, I know. There will be a better one later. Since it is the last day of the month and since there were no finishes so far, I yesterday evening made a small purse with "zipper on the roll". My first such, and it was very easy :O)
So for this month, one small OPAM - without the help from the OPAM "project" there would not have been a finish this month.
Thank you to Peg and Chris for hosting this.

Still alive - barely ....

It is still much to much work and to little sewing. But this weekend I got my jelly roll basted and ready for quilting. I think I know how to quilt it (by mashine) so next time I have some leftover hours I will spend them on that project.
Next thing to finish is the "smaller stars" project. I was so much into it during the spring, and now it has stayed without the borders for months. When I picked it out of the stash yesterday it was screeming for finalisation. That is next on my list.
I fear there will be no OPAMs this month. Have to come back stronger in October !

Autumn ....

It was a lovely autumn week-end and despite other priorities on Friday we got a short break by going to the cabin from Saturday to Sunday. We rearrenged the furniture in the living room and I am happy with the results. The cabin got very cosy :O)
THe weather was nice and today it was possible to sit in the sun with just a t-shirt and a good book.
When we arrived we were welcomed by several families of musroms and other fungus. They are very pretty. Gives inspiration :o)

Not a lot of sewing and next week I am travelling all week. I look forward to next weekend and the week after there will be a small break with three days off. I look forward to that as I am building up a big urge for sewing (lots of plans) !!!!

Long time - no seen

Not a lot of blogging on my site. Jobb, jobb, jobb, some exercise and luckely some family and friends - but not a lot of sewing and blogging. You have to draw a line somewhere. It will be better in the future ( I always believe that ....)
Anyway, here's a picture of my son who did his first piece of patchwork during the summerbreak. We will make a small "something" of it - some day. He was very proud and it was a lot of fun.

Will probably not take next step with this until the autumn holiday - but they are not so far away :O)
